About SINTEF NBL

SINTEF NBL as is the Norwegian fire resource centre. We do fire testing, documentation, research and consultancy services.

 
SINTEF NBL is accredited according to ISO/IEC 17020 and 17025.
 

Cooperation

SINTEF Building and Infrastructure
SINTEF NBL is a wholly owned subsidiary of SINTEF Building and Infrastructure and constitutes the fire expertise for the mother company. SINTEF NBL handles everything that requires fire safety expertise for SINTEF Building and Infrastructure including the data sheet series called Byggforskserien (in Norwegian only).

Efectis
SINTEF NBL has signed cooperating agreement with Efectis (The European experts in fire safety).  
Efectis consist of the 4 partners Efectis France, Efectis Nederland, Afiti-Licof in Spain and SINTEF NBL, and offers services in the field of fire safety. 
The 4 companies together offer a wide range of services, and each of the three partners can canalize projects through the co-operation.
The four partners together supply Europe with a total offer and open access to markets for one another, even before the total European harmonization is a fact.
