Reaction to Fire

Key activities:

• Testing of materials' reaction to fire according to Norwegian, Nordic and international standards and methods. Test reports can be used as documentation for fire classification and approvals of materials for use in buildings, onboard ships and in offshore installations.
  
  
• Development of numerical tools for evaluation of fire test results, assessment of test methods and evaluation criteria, ad hoc fire testing of products for documentation of fire properties for use in risk analyses.
