Main fields of expertise
In our work we apply methods and theories to control and monitor any system, like a robot , human muscles or a distillation column.
Cybernetics is a wide subject, and our department has the following main fields of expertise:
Cybernetics may be used in a wide application area. Primarily, we conduct work for industry, but we also have projects financed by the Research Council of Norway and the European Commission, EC.
Our department works in close collaboration with the Department of Engineering Cybernetics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, NTNU.
