HOSPITAL (Health care Optimisation Software for PlannIng, rosTering And scheduLing) is a five year research project mainly funded by The Research Council of Norway. The industrial partners Gatsoft AS and DIPS ASA are co-funding the project. The main objective in the project is to further develop and disseminate world leading competence in high-performance, robust and adaptable optimization methods for decision support in health care planning software. The competence is needed to meet strategic goals of higher efficiency and service levels in the health sector, and to facilitate innovation in the tool vendor industry. 

  

TurboRouter - reengineering: Decision support for maritime transport.

 

NFF - league scheduling:  Planning in the Norwegian football league system.

 

CupAssist: Optimal planning of complex sport tournaments.

 

DOiT ("Dynamic Optimisation in Transportation")  is a three year research project dealing with real-time transportation planning and optimisation in a dynamic environment.

 

EDGE  is a three year inter-Nordic research and technology development project. The main goal is to significantly improve logistics performance in transport services with a very large number of stops.

 

I-Rute: Development of robust tools for optimal planning of bulk transport.

 

Optimization of security settlements for VPS. SINTEF has delivered a software system used for optimal clearing and settlement in the Norwegian financial market.

 

OpTur: SINTEF is carrying out a project for GAT-Soft AS, making a software module for automatic generation of nurse rosters.

TOP was a three year research project where the goal was to develop better discrete optimisation methods to improve logistics performance in transportation.
