The simulation groups in Oslo and Trondheim provide mathematical technology to help industry visualize their concepts and ideas using advanced mathematical methods for modelling, analysis and simulation.

Numerical simulation is an important tool to enhance understanding of physical and biological processes, and help provide a decision data-base in science and engineering.
