Basin Modelling
We assist oil companies in quantifying exploration uncertainties. By developing, testing, and applying new concepts and modelling technologies we are able to improve significantly quantitative predictions of hydrocarbons in prospects prior to drilling.
Integrated Barents Sea Study

Now completed and immediately deliverable:

Basin Modelling Upgrade 2008

The Integrated Barents Sea Study (IBS 2005) is highly successful in combining a comprehensive database with novel modelling techniques to describe petroleum systems and identify key risk factors for exploration in the Barents Sea.

SINTEF Petroleum Research, in cooperation with AGR and Geotrack, has completed work on the upgrade of the basin modelling part of the IBS 2005. This project can now be immediately delivered to old and new clients of the IBS 2005.
