E-Field in SINTEF

The concept of E-field is based on the possibilities introduced by the latest IT technology and may be manifested in the analysis, simulation, execution, operation, business and organisation aspects of the oil industry. Thus the concept is very broad, potentially affecting all aspects of the industry, to varying degrees.

The ultimate aims are to reduce operating costs, enhance effectiveness, extend field life, increase recovery and improve production capacity.
