GPGPU - Graphics hardware as a high-end computational resource

In this strategic project we aimed to get to the forefront of this emerging technology and apply it to problems of industrial interest. The expertise gained has allowed SINTEF Norwegian to get a head start in building software applications which harness this new computational power. To achieve this abmitious goal we established a strong (virtual) research group based on collaborations between key people at

For the period 2008-2010 the work is continued in the project "Hetrogeneous Computing". These web-pages combine results and information from the "GPGPU" and the "Heterogenous Computing" projects.
