Post doc., PhD. and Master Theses

As part of the project, we offer supervision of master students. Primarily, we are interested in having master students in our offices in Forskningsveien 1, 0314 Oslo. However, we also offer joint supervision with our collaborators at the universitites of Oslo, Bergen, and Trondheim and at the Narvik University College.

PhD and post doc. fellows:

  • Sverre Briseid, Research Scientist (SINTEF), PhD. fellowship in the Heterogeneous Computing project 2008-2010.
  • Trond Runar Hagen, Research Scientist (SINTEF), PhD. fellowship GPGPU-project 2006-2009.
  • Jon Anders Mikkelsen - cand. scient (SINTEF), PhD. fellowship addresssing computer aided geometric design (GPGPU-project 2004-2008)
  • Talal Rahman - PhD(UiB), post doc. fellowship in  the GPGPU-project 2006-2007,  addressing image processing
  • Johan Simon Seland,  fellowship in the GPGPU-project 2004-2007 at CMA UiO. Now employed as research scientist in SINTEF.

Master theses University of Oslo

2007: Five master students from the Department of Informatics at University of Oslo completes their master thesis (12 month work over 1 1/2 years) in the GPGPU project.

Master theses Narvik University College:

In the period 2004-2007 more than 15 master students has completed thesis on topics proposed by the GPGPU-project. In 2008 we expect to propose new topics for master thesis as part of the Hetrogneous Compitong project.
