Availability analyses

Different availability analyses can be performed, based on weather statistics and defined operation criteria, depending on the focus of the analysis. An availability analysis can be useful for comparison between vessels or assessment of the benefit of installing specialized equipment. Examples:

• All-year or seasonal availability of a defined vessel and operation.
• As above, including time loss related to operation interruptions.
• Average, maximum and minimum duration of an operation defined as a sequence of tasks, with separately defined criteria
