Our technology allows the surgeon to virtually see through the patient before and during surgery

We develop advanced navigation and visualization for image guided surgery. Our focus is on intraoperative navigation, using medical images such as ultrasound, MR and CT.

We develop this technology to provide better and less invasive treatment for patients.

The navigation system is developed in the collaborative Trondheim group consisting of SINTEF, St. Olavs Hospital (Trondheim University Hospital) and NTNU. Research scientists and surgeons work closely together to develop the surgical navigation system for the future.
